While similar to a crew boat, this 55-footer built by SeaArk Marine was intended to transport supplies and campers to a summer camp on Lake Huron. One unusual requirement was the ability to carry canoes lashed to the housetop. More commonplace requirements were economy of build and operation and good seakeeping abilities, as Lake Huron is big and potentially rough. The Hunt-SeaArk collaboration has satisfied all these requirements.
